Hi Girls:wave:

First of all a big hello from me and a bit about our journey so far.

Me 43 DH37 live in Perth and have had 11 transfers IVF/FETs with own eggs all BFN. Then we had 2 FETs with a 31yo donors eggs both BFNs then just last week did a fresh IVF with a new donor a 21yo young mum but still a BFN

This time and with the other donor we have had great looking blasties. They transferred 2 blasties this time and one was even hatching out but still no pregnancy. :hair:

I am seeing my Dr on the 18th March to discuss possible immune problems in regards to implantation to rule that out. If they find nothing I may need to look at surrogacy and wanted some advice.

I have 8 frozen blasties and if I could advertise for a surrogate in the state that will allow me to do surrogacy as Im from Perth and its not legal here.:hissy:

Any ideas if one. I can take frozen embies to another state 2. Can I advertise for a surrogate 3. What are the costs. 4. Will I qualify as I dont have a recognised medical condition as to why I am not getting pregnant and 5. Any ideas which clinic so I can do some homework on them.

Thanks girls look forward to your imput as I am lost as to where to begin with surrogacy.

I just need some hope as DH and I will be wonderful parents and we have no children and fear time is running out. This is our 6th year of trying and its been a long 6 years.:banghead:

Look forward to chatting to you all soon.

:)I realy feel for you and your situation ((big hugg))) I didn't know that surrogacy was illegal in Australia. Do you know much about why it is. I'd love to know more because I would be a surrogate mum in a flash. It's sad that there are people like you who realy want a baby and people like me willing to help but the powers that be say NO. Go figure.
Good luck to you in your journey.

Big hugs for you :hugs:. I know how you must be feeling. I'm 35, have had around 15 transfers, not one positive result. It's devastating.

We tried two lots of surrogacy, both negative and then decided to adopt. A very long, emotional process but worth it in every way. We have our gorgeous DS, he's our life.

After adopting I had two miscarriages last year which has led me down the IVF path once again. We have 2 embryos left, I go into Hollywood for my transfer around the end of next week.

Talk to your IVF doctor about surrogacy, that's where our info came from. Also, there's a website that is run by a lady in Northam which deals with all aspects of surrogacy, you might find what you're looking for! I don't remember the address of the site but I found it through a google search (years ago). Maybe someone else on Bubhub can help you with that??

All the best with your journey.

Hi

I cant help with the laws where you are - we are limited but so much more fortunate in the UK (however we also cant advertise).

Our group had its first surro babies arrive last year after a frozen natutal cycle.

Very good luck in your journey :)

Hi, we are in the same boat. We have found a surrogate in US but to bring bubs back into Australia is a nightmare:no: We know of people who have done surrogates the Traditional way however it would only be your husbands biological child - (TS not GS ) We are looking at going down this road now :yelclap:
It is not against the law to have a surrogacy in NSW,ACT and I think NT & SA, but don't quote me on the last 2. If you put the word out their that you are looking for someone to help you have the most precious gift in the world to your family like we have, their are alot of beutiful people out their willing to help, we are praying that we will find someone to help us welcome a precious little one with the help of a loving person:bee:I wish you so much luck as I know the heartache of no longer being able to have children and the eternal yearning in your heart to have a precious baby to love
