Hi, I'm visiting Australia in May with my little boy, Jack, and I wondered if anyone could give me some advice on a good suncream to use on babies with eczema. I'd rather buy something in Australia as I imagine that it will be easier to buy ones with a higher SPF.
I will be flying to Sydney - any good recommendations for shops where I can buy some baby sunglasses, sunprotection suits etc?
Thanks mums.:)

Hi, the only sunscreen my DS is not allergic to is the "Sun Sense" Toddler Milk. It is 30+ and really gentle on the skin. You can buy it from most chemists.
Enjoy your time in Australia and welcome to bub hub!

We used the Sun Sense Toddler Milk too and found it great. We also bought an "Outlook" suncover for our pram - the see through mesh gives 50+ protection with a 90+ protection in the top section of the cover (for memory about AUS$40). It fits most styles of prams and also provides some wind protection. I think its available at Kmart, Target and most baby stores. It meant that we didn't have to use as much sunscreen on Dev's very sensitive face. Don't forget a hat!!! Have a great holiday.
