Hi all,
Has anyone had a bub that suddenly decided to wake every 40 minutes at night and cry and need to be resettled????
DD normally wakes 2-3 times and needs to be resettled but the past 4 nights it has been every 40 minutes and is driving us insane.
She is not cold or hot or sick or hungry!

She has her top two choppers coming through and has her bottom two - another one on the right side of the bottom ones is coming through but she has never had this behaviour before with teething!

I was going to suggest teeth too. Chloe wasn't bothered much by her early teeth but her molars seemed to give a lot of upset nights. At the time I didn't realise it but then would notice a tooth after a week or so.

I HATE TEETHING!
Why do some bubs not suffer while others (IE MINE) end up being sick 6 nights out of 7 due to a teething related issue!
We have tried all the natural relief, panadol, bonjela, sedagel, nurofen, phenergan, teething rings etc etc and even been to an osteopath which works wonders the first night!
I give up! I am depressed at the thought of this continuing on and off for the next few years though............:crying:

Hugs Lu :hugs: :(
If it helps at all, it shouldn't take years. I think Chloe had most of her molars in by the time she was 2. There may be one or two more I think.
Maybe you could send her off to the osteopath every day?
I remember looking up some paediatric dentists in Perth, although I never got around to taking Chloe. I'm not sure they'd be able to do anything but it might be worth a visit to one?

If only private health would cover the full cost - then I would!
I was thinking about the paed dentist - DPs sister ended up having to have surgery when she was this age as her gums were so hard and the teeth were having problems getting through. The thought of doing this to DD distresses me though, especially general anaesthetic!
Her top two choppers are massive - takes after DP poor mite.:(
