My best friend moved to Fingal Bay in October last year and since she has moved there I have seen her 3 times, which is a pretty good effort for us considering she's 3 hours away from me, but I still feel like I don't see her enough.

We used to get together at least once a week...

Our two children absolutely ADORE each other.

She is down for the weekend and we went over last night and we just had such a great time. There was so many of us there catching up with my bestie and her fiance as we all miss them, but it was just so nice to have that group together, laughing and having fun.

Her eldest daughter (almost 3) and Petey just had so much fun together and everything just felt nice for those few hours.

Although now it's hit me even more just how much I miss seeing them.

I have known her since I was 8yrs old, and we are just so so close.

I want to make more trips up to see them but petrol is just so much money, and then I have to pay for a little cabin to stay for a night or two.

I just wish she wasn't so far.

I feel like every time I see them we have just missed out on so much of each others lives.

Also because I only have a few close mummy friends, it makes it even harder.

Peter's always asking to go see "Kia and baby", meaning Kiralee (her eldest) and Sienna (her 3 month old). He misses them just as much as me.

I just love them all so so much, it's so hard not being physically closer to them. After my visit up there in late January, I really wanted to move up there. I still do but with work etc now, it won't happen anytime soon unfortunately.

*sigh* Just needed to get that out.

Could you meet half way somewhere?

So you don't have the expense of all the petrol and a cabin.

Have a nice picnic or BBQ then come home.

Aww Nat:hugs::hugs:

It is so hard when you are so far away from your best friend. They are such a wonderful and beautiful part of your life and not being able to see them and grow with them and their family is a massive thing.

Thinking of you hun:hugs::hugs:

I have the perfect solution beautiful, you move to the coast. Then it will only take you 30-40 minutes or so right? :p

:hugs: I know how much you miss your friend, I just know you two will get to see each other more often, real friends don't lose touch, the bond will remain.

I know I'm still working on the move to Syd but you're always more then welcome to stop by for a 'stop-revive' half way-recovery so you can have a cappuccino and Pete can let off some car steam. :D

More huggles, cause I luff ya.
