Belly popping Q...

This is for the girls who have popped already or who have already been through this (and sorry if it is a stupid question!)

Did your stomach pop at the top (ie above belly button) straight away?

Got out of the car earlier and noticed that I have a pronounced stomach bump immediately under breasts and in between ribs - so pronounced i want to rest my hands on it!!

The bottom part of my stomach is slightly out but my uterus hasn't completely popped out of pelvis yet - i can feel it is close when I am lying down, but not so much when standing up.

So i look pregnant up the top and not the bottom - which is odd given baby is still right down the bottom!!

Is this normal or am I just weird??

sounds normal to me!!
i've got a pronounced area between chest and belly button too!
as the room starts being displaced by the uterus, the other organs/fat etc are pushed upwards :thumbsup:

if you think about where your intestines go... up, then where your liver/stomch/pancress etc have to go, they cant go up because your lungs wont fit, so they go out, between your ribs and belly button. completely normal!! i have it right now!! and yep i rest my hands on it and rub it like an idiot, DH laughs but i like doing it, i rub everywhere, bubs will know i love it!!!!!!!!

Oh yay - thanks girls for reassuring me I am not a freak!!!

I will continue to rub away (even if it is just half my stomach at this stage!)
