Has anyone faced any issues with having a water birth in an area with water ristrictions such as Brisbane?

Would it be a home or hospital birth?

Hospitals are not on water restrictions so it would be no problem through the hospital.

how many times do u give birth at home im sure that for the birth of your baby water restrictions wont be a problem. i would love to see them come to your door an tell you off while your in labor im sure theyll run the other way. it isn't realy that much your not filling it 10 times

Wow thats a really interesting question. I guess it would be an issue if you were following the very black and white letter of the law because there are really clear bans on filling even very small toddler paddling pools. But I imagine that (particularly if you are hiring a proper purpose specific birthing pool) you could justify that the pool is a bath and as it is inside your home not in the yard no one would really be the wiser anyway. Your water consumption for that month would just be higher and you would have a beautiful new member in the household ;)
