So, who else was lucky enough to give birth in October 2005? After adjusting to the challenges of new motherhood, I am now thoroughly enjoying my 5.75 month old son (if you don't count the wakeups in the middle of the night!). Anyone else?

Finally enjoying a full night's sleep (sorry:p ). Washing puree out of my clothes. Not having to rush over and tip DS over once he'd rolled halfway and couldn't go any further...but, having to pick up things constantly as he's somehow made his way over to them in record time.
Also looking for a way to not return to work so I can enjoy DS driving me up the wall.

I am with Kalsar my little twin boys are still waking through the night, i am going to start them on Farex this week and i am learning how and when to introduce the foods.
They are laughing, squealing, smiling and checking eachother out, really cute time

Sleeping through the night only started with the introduction of solids. I kept telling people my DS was a hungry boy (mother knows best:D ). Rice cereal lasted a week and he wasn't keen - but loves heaps of vegies and fruits.
Poo time is fun too trying to guess which meal we're disposing of!
So much more to look forward to...

Enjoying teething, getting a full nights sleep, and watching Seth try to crawl, only to laugh when he gets cranky with himself when he can't go anywhere (I'm such a good mother :D )
Don't want to think about him growing up though!!

There is another section of the forum for parents to get together with parents of bubs the same age (my goodness that's an awful sentence... lets try again...)
Other parents with Oct2005 bubs are now chatting in this section: Birth Groups - Oct-Dec 2005 (http://www.bubhub.com.au/community/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=187)

Well 6 months has come around so fast! My DD was born a healthy 4.2kg so she has been bigger than average from the begginning and we started on solids at 4 1/2 months. Slept through from 6 weeks from 10pm - 6am, but since about 4 months she has been sleeping from 8.30pm to 7.30am which is BLISS!!! Favourite foods are Pumpkin, potato and apples & pears, as well as anything custard. Yum!
Found first tooth the other day which was very exciting - we can see the corner of the second one coming through now too.
I love being a Mum - I think 6 months is a great age as DD is more interactive and just bring so much joy to our lives!!
