Anyone else out there doing IVF. This is my 4th attempt and it doesn't get any easier during the 2 week wait. The Dr says that my 2 embryos transferred were the best that they have ever been, these 2 got to the morula stage! OH the pressure!!!

Hi Mandy,
I too am in the middle of my two week wait and as I only have 4 days to go, it seems to be getting harder. It's hard not to get hopes up. Best of luck and fingers crossed!

Hi Miche - so what day are you able to have your BT? Mine is Thurday next week. Its seems so far away. How are you feeling? I've had cramping on and off all day and my boobs are sore. This is my 4th attempt and it seems I have different symptoms every month. Its really is hard not to get excited! The progesterone in your body giving you all the right signs. The first 3 times I always got my period before hand but last month I got to have the BT. Good luck:fingerscrossed:

Hi Mandy, My BT is on Sunday so i'm starting to get really nervous. When did you get your period on previous attempts? So far, so good but I keep getting period like cramps and I constantly think I'm getting them. The symptoms can be so deceiving, it's not fair sometimes. Good luck! This is going to be one hard weekend

Hi Miche,
I got my period the first two times about 3 days before the blood tests. The Dr said that this was really rare due to the progesterone pessaries. Last time I got them two days after the BT - or two days after stopping the progesterone. I'll be thinking of you, the day before is a killer. You will be so excited but guarding yourself at the same time. Good Luck for Sunday - I'll be thinking of your with :fingerscrossed: .
Let me know how you go.

Hi Mandymoo and Miche,

Welcome to the boards. Good Luck with your BTs i hope both comes back as a BFP.
I know how hard the 2ww can be. I find that the last week is the hardest as you know that you could have preg symptoms so when you feel a twinge or anything your mind crosses over and thinks you could be preg (well thats what i thought lol ) but then your mind crosses back and you think it could also be the progesterone - aarrrggg nightmare !! lol

Miche how many cycles have you done so far? (sorry hope you dont mind me asking)

Please keep us posted.
Take Care
Cindy

Hi Mandy! Thanks so much. Am starting to feel more confident as I am now 16 days after transfer and have sore boobs so fingers are definitely crossed! I hope the next two days don't go too slowly for you. Keep yourself occupied and BEST OF LUCK!!!!!!!!!! Will let you know how I go.
Also Hi Cindy. This is my 1st IVF cycle but have a long history of infertility. For the past 12 mths, have done injections every month but on lower doses ( 10-14 days of puregon, trigger then 3 follow up hcg's). But with natural conception. Basically, ivf but no retrieval or transfer. I got pregnant that way after 3 1/2 years of trying with my daughter, now 2 1/2. Trying now since she was 1 and had a M/C over a year ago at 11 wks. Trying to explain my history as short as possible but complicated. It took 8 mths of injections for my daughter. How about you?
