Is anyone a Member of Fernwood?

If So what do you think of it?

Is it worth the money?

If you have tried Fernwood, and did not like it, and have another gym that you recommend.

Having worked at aout 20 different gyms, I must say I don not really like Fernwood and I dont think it is worth the money.

I prefer the smaller independant gyms....where on the northside are you?

I was a member of fernwood, only gave it up cause I didn't have time once DS was born.

I loved it, loved the atmosphere, loved the people, loved the fact that there were no intimidating men hogging the weights in front of the mirrors! And loved their classes. This was all when I was pretty nervous about going into a gym though- they are very intimidating places!

I also did the slimplicity program (and recently revisited just for the consults) which is a combination of diet consults, personal training, and gym work....and lost heaps of weight- it is a fantastic program!

That said it is expensive, and I think if you are fairly gym savvy, and don't need the extra support and help around the gym you can get far better deals elsewhere.

I have been to a couple of Gyms and absolutely love Fernwood. I find it is really friendly and no one seems to be wanting to be better than anyone else.

Everyone has the same goals etc. They have lovely facilities, very clean, comfortable and supportive.

Can't say enough, they are great.:yelclap:

direct debit i think about $21 a week PLUS child minding... which i am not quite sure how much that is but its at least a couple of dollars per child per visit.

And I think the annual up front payment is about $1060.

I am joining GoodLife Health Club I am very happy with their facilities and child minding area... my sister and mum are joining too!

It is $16.50 per week, And about $650 I think upfront annual payment.

My annual upfront payment was about $600, plus I did the slimplicity program for 12wks which was an extra $500- but thats entirely optional.
