I know I'm addicted.
Last night I was watching my favourite show, Law and Order SVU, and one of the guest characters names was SANDRA. Every time someone said her name, the first thing that popped into my head was... STUFFABLES
:D
It's ok Queenie, we're here to help and support you!
I don't even have a baby yet but I keep going in to the baby's room and putting my cloth nappies and various covers on the teddy bear that's on the cupboard in there!
 LOL Queenie, we love people like you! It's amazing how addictive cloth is, isn't it. Really, so many people, I mean SO many don't realise how enjoyable cloth can be! :yelclap:
I hear ya, Queenie. Someone told me the other day that they had to pick up some nappies on the way home because their new bub has just grown out of the 'newborn' size and my first thought was "What?? You're using DISPOSABLES??" As if most of the population isn't!
And I have to keep stopping myself from buying more fitteds. I have 10 fitteds and 9 pockets, a dozen flanno flats, a dozen terry flats and about 5 eenees... but somehow I just think I need more fitteds. Lord only knows why, but I NEED fitteds.

I'm finding myself checking ebay most days too  It is addictive I agree. But they are just so cute, easy to use etc. My DH complains about changing fitteds so he gives me no choice but to buy more fitteds......thats my excuse anyway
sorry must have missed the boat on this one, i must be the only one that doesn't like cloth.
Clucky, clucky, clucky... but have you seen the NEW cloth? We'll make a convert of you yet. ;)
they aren't that bad, just prefer disposible - less effort, i rather being able to throw away than having to clean the nappy
Definitely less effort, but just as a matter of interest, did you know you are actually (by law) supposed to flush the poo out of disposies?! Most people don't of course, but still...
Check these out. Aren't they adorable?! :D How could you not be just a little bit tempted?

By the way, I'm not really trying to convert you. Each to their own. ;) But I do love showing people how darn CUTE they are! :)

I had a disagreement with my mothers group about this last week. They refuse to believe it should be flushed & will not do it :banghead:
Yeah, I understand that people couldn't be bothered but it's not nice to think about all that human waste leeching into our water.

I use sposies AND I put the poo down the loo..Dry retch every time, but I do it... ;)
You're a legend, K dot M!
And btw, I know I haven't called you. I've been stuck here on this stupid addictive website in between doing my other chores.
If anyone disagrees with you on the poo in the toilet thing, it says it on the nappy packaging, not that anyone actually reads it.

K.M that is fantastic that you flush.
I recently bought the Honeyboy pattern and am about to start making my first ever nappy at home. So excited.
I have so many nappies now but I still keep thinking I need more!!!!!!! Cosmic I'm now onto wool soakers to cover my nappies with.....they are so cute to.
I can't believe people still think disgustables are easier. What able to the poo that goes up the back and when they leak. I've never had that done in a cloth nappy, you'll be using so much disposible wipes as well. I figure it takes me and extra 2 mins a day and I think that is well worth it for the money I'm saving and the environment that I'm saving it.
Do the other mums know that people at the garbage place have to open and sort through all the rubbish imagine all the pooy nappies they come to and how smelly they would be. EWWWWWWW poor people, if nothing else think them and flush.
Queenie, I'm the same I see a number plate with MC (Modern cloth) or SS (sandra stuffables or side snaps) or VB (Very Baby) and I start working out the nappies equivlent. How sad am I?????????
Do you girls know that there is a "Real Nappy week" coming up in April have a look at the site I think it's in Lucy's sig and see if there is an event near you.
