So post a little about yourself :smiliedance:
I'll start, i'm married with a 10mth old daughter MJ. Been living up on the coast since 2002 with my mum at Kariong till I met my DH & moved in with him.
Anyone else?

Hey Karen,
What time will you be up at Chipmunks? My mums group is meeting on thursday at chipmunks this week :smiliedance: So we'll see you there
Hi Louise,
Glad to see you back, hope your girls are well. Sorry I cant help with a hair dresser, i've had 1 haircut in 18months
Hope to see you all on thursday.
Hi Louise: I will be at Chipmonks around 10.00am, its nice and quiet around that time. Would love to meet and have a chat. Can anyone else come??
Donnelle, how did you go with your appointment last week? I am having trouble with Travis at the moment, he hasnt done a poo since last thursday, hoping the change in formula and the drops will change that :fingerscrossed:
Emma, how is your friends little boy? Its never easy when littles ones are so sick.
Catch up with everyone soon.
Hey Donnelle we posted around the same time  Hope to see you thursday.
Lousie, just remember about the hair dressers, I finally went today :smiliedance: - havent been for a long time. It was the first time I had been to this one, but they seem really nice and my hair feels good too, and not to badly price $25 cut and blow dry. I will bring the details on thursday.

Hi Karen,
The dietition just said to give her as much fibre ie fresh fruit, veg, wholemeal breads, pasta etc as possible. Basically do what i'm already doing. Not much help really. I've been giving her a prune every morning which luckily she enjoys so :fingerscrossed: it will get easier. Hope Travis goes soon.
I'll see you up at tuggerah at 10 on thursday, & just hang around till my mums group meet at 12 :smiliedance:
Take care

Hi Girls,
Karen - my friends son is still fighting. He is out of intensive care so once again he has beaten the odds. Its so sad to see him going through this and it rerally breaks my heart knowing he is the same age as my daughter.
Louise - Hello...long time since we have heard from you. I went to the hairdressers last week and got my hair coloured and cut and blow dryed. Its call Dynamics i think, it used to be called Cut 'n' Time its on the pacific highway at tuggerah. Their hair cuts start at $19.95. They are really friendly. It was the first time i had been but i will definately be going back.
Unfortunately i cant make it this Thursday as i have set that day aside to do all my housework as i have friends arriving on friday from brisbane for my sons Naming Day on sunday but i will definately be able to start meeting up from next week.
Hi there Emma,
Thanks for the info as to the hairdresser and hope all goes well on sunday.
Catch up soon

Hi Alison,
No party crashing happened, the more the merrier :D
Hope we are still meetig today :fingerscrossed: Will be great to catch up Louise.
Take care ladies, see you soon
Hi Alison, Welcome to BubHub! :smiliedance: I am new to wyong and didn't know anyone and have found it great to meet other mums with bubs!
Emma: Hope all goes well on sunday, hope to see you next week.
Louise: How did the doctors appointment go? Fingers cross that things start getting better soon.
Donnelle and Louise: had a great time at chipmonks today, Aden of course is absolutely worn out, so worn out he had a screaming match in Aldi. Hope to see you there again next week, DH might be there as well, as he has the day off, but he will most likely be running around with Aden :smiliedance:
Donnelle don't need to worry about the steriliser, brought one at Aldi for $12!!
Warning this next bit is a bit yukky: Travis finally did a poo :smiliedance: , I was making my lunch and heard this noise from the lounge room, I knew that it was him. And sure enough as soon as I walk into the room I could smell it. Anyway. here comes the TMI bit, as I was changing his nappy the poo was still coming very slowly he was grunting a little bit but also had the biggest grin on his face. My question is this: if he teared wouldn't he be reallllllly upset and in pain?? There was much crying at all, and at the moment he is fast asleep. I think I will make an appointment with the doctor on monday anyway to get him checked out, though if he gets really upset between now and then I will take him.
Anyway, I had a wonderful time today, hope to see everyone next week.
:) Karen
Hi Girls,
It was great to catch up with you guys this morning - I had a great time. Next week I am meeting my mum at westfields Hornsby however I will be able to make it the Thursday after if you will be there.
I took Chloe to the doctor as she has been having constant fevers for the last 4 weeks. This time he decided it was about time to do some blood tests so it will be interesting seeing what they show up. It would be so much better knowing what was was actually causing the problem. Anyway I will keep you guys updated.
Good news too Karen on travis doing the poo. Hope he continues to be ok
Hi Alison and welcome

I'm so glad Travis went for you, must feel better. Sounds to me like he was tear free :smiliedance: MJ got a tear a while back & screamed while going  very distressing.
Louise, atleast this time they're doing something. Goodluck with the results :hugs:
Hi girls,
Hope everyone had a good weekend. Just a quick update on Chloe. Friday morning when I rang the dr for the blood results he explained to me they weren't back however her temp had got up to 38.9 so he advised me to take her down to gosford hospital as she had had these fevers now for 10 days. The annoying thing about it all is that all the blood and urine tests came back clear so they are thinking that it is another virus which unfortunately they can't treat. Also she is picking up most of these viruses from daycare so it is hard as I don't reallly want to keep her away from there but then you don't want her getting sick all the time either. She is home now so that is certainly a relief.
Anway hope you are all well
Hope to catch up soon
Louise
Hi Louise
:hugs: for you and Chole. It must be frustrating not knowing what is wrong, are the doctors still looking into or are they just waiting and seeing what happens? My thoughts are with you and I hope Chole gets better soon. Keep us posted.

Louise, you poor thing :hugs: I hope it calms down for you soon. Dont you hate Dr's & the "its a virus" thats all they seem to say :banghead:
Take care, hope you have a good nights sleep.
Thankyou Karen and Donnelle for that.
Chloe still isn't 100% am still needing to give her panadol for her temperature as it is still over 38. Do viruses usually go on for this long?
Anyway I will keep you posted
Thanks once again girls

:hugs: Louise, have you tried nurofen for children? It seems to have more of an effect on MJ than panadol. Or go to a health food shop & see what they have.
Just a thought.

Hi everyone,
I feel so bad for being so slack on Bub Hub. Coopers naming day went really well once the celebrant turned up (she was 30mins late). He got lots of nice pressies mainly warm clothes for winter which was good. It was also DH & my 1yr wedding anniversary the same day and I got my eternity ring as my 1yr anniversary present.
I have also been busy doing assigments for my Certificate 1 in Accounting and as of this week I will be going back to work 1 day a week. The person that i trained to do my job while i was on maternity leave isnt doing his job properly and has lost 5 of our big clients since I went on Mat leave so my boss has asked me to go back 1 day a week till July then go full time till the end of August mid-September then cut back down to probably 2 days a week. Its going to be hard but its going to help financially and also i can slowly go back into full time work instead of after 12mths going back full time straight up. I definately wouldnt be able to handle it if i did that.
My friends son came home from hospital last week and has been chosen to be go to Disneyland with his family all expenses paid for in May.
Is everyone meeting up again this Thursday at chimpmunks? I can make it this week, i forgot last week. Its a great place to meet. I meet up with my mothers group there on Wednesdays.
How has everyone else been????
Hi everyone,
We have had a pretty busy weekend. Saturday morning I got my hair cut then we went to the supa centa. In the afternoon I worked. Sunday we went for a walk just in the streets near where we live. Haven't the days just been lovely!
What are everyones plans for Easter? We are going down to Nowra for the weekend (the in-laws live there) so that should be good.
I am definetely up for chipmunks on thursday. I am looking forward to catching up with you guys again. Would it be 10am again?

Hi Emma, good to see you back on bh.
Hey Louise, I should be able to make thursday. I'm pretty sure its still 10. How is Chloe now? Any improvement? I hope she's getting better.
Not sure whats happening Easter sunday yet. I do know that we're going to the easter show on friday :smiliedance: It continues tradition. I always went with my folks on good friday & now were doing it with bug :yelclap:
MJ is teething bad :crying: Upset alot of the time, not sleeping, wont eat. The only thing that eases my mind is that she's still bf so gets all that she needs.
Hope I can make this week. I'm sure Karen will be there :fingerscrossed: Adens feeling better by then.
Just remember to dress warm, its freezing in there lately.
Hi Everyone
Just a quick note about Thursday. I have had some sick little boys lately, Aden got an ear infection last week, he is a lot better, but we will see how things are. I have a follow up doctors appointment for Aden at 10, so hopefully will be there after that.
Talk soon

Hi Everyone
Well I am not going to be able to make it tomorrow, Aden is starting to get better but still not 100% and Travis has a really stuffy nose and nasty cough. And with Chipmonks being so cold, I thought it was best to stay at home. Hopefully by next week, all colds will have disappear.
Louise: how is your little girl going?? Have the doctors found out any more?
Hope everyone has a good easter, if you are going anywhere have a safe journey.
Talk to you soon
Karen
Hi girls,
There might be a chance that I will be unable to make it tomorrow. I need to get quite a few things at the shops as we are going away over the weekend. I will do my best though as I would like to catch up again. Would you mind Donnelle PMing me your mobile phone no. and I will ring and see if you are still at chipmunks. That is if you don't mind.
Karen - Hope Aden feels better soon. Chloe is much better now thankyou - the doctors just put it down to being a virus in the end. Hope to catch up next time.
Emma, Donnelle and Alison - Hi there. I hope to be able to catch up tomorrow. if not, maybe next week or next time you will be meeting

Hey ladies,
How are we all? Hope everyone is well.
MJ has been very upset lately, teething & a bit of a cold but i think that was from the teething  She now has 6 teeth
BUT she did eat a bit today so i'm happy. Ate a bit of organic jar food for lunch & some mashed potato, peas, corn & gravy for dinner :smiliedance:
It seems MJ & Aden (jkats son) have become great friends :hugs: seeing the cuddle yesterday was priceless, wish i had a camera.
Any news? Any newbies?
It seems MJ & Aden (jkats son) have become great friends seeing the cuddle yesterday was priceless, wish i had a camera.
They were adorable weren't they, Aden loves playing with other kids, no matter there age. One reason I try to get to chipmonks more, but with the boys both being sick its been hard the last couple of weeks.
We should try and organise another meet up at chipmonks - after school holidays, its too busy at the moment.
Emma, it was great to meet you today, even though it was only for a couple of minutes.
Louise: Glad to here Chloe is feeling better. Hopefully we can catch up soon.
Alison: Still haven't met, but as I said we should organise a time after the holidays.
Have a good night everyone, chat to you soon. :)

My name is Allison, i am married with a 3yr old Kai and number 2 due in two weeks. We are currently living in Canberra but will be relocating to the central coast once the baby is born. Hubby is already up there living in Mardi.
We dont know anyone so it would be nice to meet some people when we get there hopefully within a month.
Hi everyone,
I have just read through all your posts. I used to be a regular on bub hub and recognise a few of you, but as usual work got the better of me and I didnt check the forums. Things have changed since i was on last...... I am 16 weeks pregnant!!! :smiliedance: I am still working Monday - Friday but as soon as my maternity leave starts (not for AGES yet.....) I would love to come to one of the days you are all meeting up. Like a few of you, none of my friends have kids and they are living completely different lives to me, so it would be good to catch up with a few other mums on the coast :)
Hope you are all having a good weekend!!

Well one week to go and this bump has definately outstayed its welcome! Living with your parents when you have a 3yr old is not a recommendation I would make. Shouldnt complain as we wouldnt have been able to make the move to the central coast if I couldnt stay here. Just want to have this kid and move into our place in Mardi where hubby has been since end of Feb, back into my own environment and own routine. Keep your fingers crossed for me that this kid comes at least on time!

mcinwalsh your post brings backs memories. I was the same with Travis, 4 days after he was born I went to mum and dads while DH packed the house up, 1 Week and 2 days old Travis (and the rest of us:p ) finally moved into his new home:smiliedance: . It is a lot of stress waiting, as well as setting up a new home. :fingerscrossed: bub comes soon, if it all gets too much send me a pm, I found it help being able to write down all the stress. People are amazing even after advising them that they will be notified when this kid arrives they still ask! I am hoping I go into labour after Matt arrives for the weekend tomorrow afternoon, but these things never happen when we would like them to. Matt has been gone for about 8wks now and this week has been the longest so far just want it over with now and want to be in my own home with my own things. Anyway enough whinging. Hi everyone,
I have been a stranger lately. Life has been pretty hectic as I am back at work 2 days a week, DD & DS had a cold then DH got a cold then i got a cold, my dad has also been in hospital with heart problems and busy organising our first family road trip for the october school holidays and studying for my Certificate II in Accounting.
Cooper is doing well. He has been on solids for a month now and loves it. He is rolling everywhere, can sit up on his own for about 1 min there realises no one is holding on to him so falls backwards. He said Mum on mothers day when i was putting him to bed for the night so that topped the already fantastic mothers day that i was having.
Stephanie-Paige (DD) received 2 awards last week at school for education week. She got a Certificate of Merit and Student of the Week award so i was a very proud mum last week.
Happy Birthday for the 18th MJ. I cant believe she is 1yr old already. I remember meeting her when she was just 6mths old.
Well must be going. Hope to catch up with you all again soon.

Hi Emma,
wow you have been busy. We've all had a cold too, though MJ got over hers really quick mine is lingering.
hi guys,
we had the best time on holidays, Maddie loved going to currumbin wildlife park. she had photos with possums lizards and a croc. lol she tryed to eat the croc. Anyways it was our first family holiday and now i really cant wait for the next one. Maddie did so well on the plane i was very proud. oh and i'm really excited Maddie got the first tooth while we were away and by the time we got back she now has two. yay.
Hi everyone
Well life is always hetic around here, these two boys are keeping me on my toes. Aden now goes to preschool two days a week, I am hoping to find a job very soon, but it also means trying to find care for Travis and that is a lot harder. Still having trouble with Travis and his constipation I am now trying Nan Nestle formula to see if that makes a difference, nothing else seems to be working. The poor baby is also have teething problems, he had a little blood blister on his gums last night, and the gums are so lumpy. Amazingly though, he is still such a happy baby nothing bothers him much.
Mary - gald to hear you had a wonderful holiday. Next time can I hide in your suitcase :D , a holiday right now is what the doctor ordered!!!
Allison - welcome to the Central Coast :smiliedance: Hope the trip up was eventful free. Will be looking forward to meeting up!
Emma - It is definetly the seasons for colds, we have all had them here, and the boys just cant get rid of their runny noses, I think they just keep pasing back and forth. Glad to hear everything else is going well, we will have to meet up properly soon.
RB: chat to you soon :p
Well I best be going, with Aden at childcare today, its my cleaning day. Fun!!

Hey Mary, it has been a while. Sorry its taken me so long to reply, keep forgetting :o So glad Maddy is crawling, now you'll have no peace :D
MJ is now running around everywhere, never stops going. They grow up soo fast. DH & I were watching her sleep this morning & just cant believe she's a toddler now. She's grown up so much, especially the last few weeks.
I've noticed there are more central coast mums around now, come in & say hi. We'll have to organise another meet up real soon. We haven't gone up to Chipmunks for ages.
Hope you are all well, i'm off to get a hot cuppa, & watch Family Guy

Hi & welcome to bubhub
Not too sure on where or when the next meet up is. Chipmunks isnt near as good as it used to be. Have to think of something else i think.
Rainbowbrite, you look very familiar just trying to think where i might of seen you before.........did you go to the Biggest Morning Tea at Tione's?
Nope, not me, never been to one.
Sorry about that Rainbowbrite.
I haven't been to chipmunks for a long time but it's a shame to hear that it's gone downhill.
There is muck-a-bout at Lakehaven or Playdays at Kincumber.......just a few suggestions.

No need to be sorry :) You've probably seen me around somewhere
I keep forgetting about Muck-A-Bout. Its cheaper than chipmunks from memory, not as nice, i'll admit but still, the kids can play while we chat
Hi girls,
Sorry it has been a while. I am now working 2 days during the week now so I am kept fairly busy during the week however I would love to catch up with you guys again on friday if you were still meeting up. Chloe just loves muckabout and I must agree that Chipmunks has gone downhill a bit.
Hope everyone is well. We are doing well here. Chloe has just turned 3. Madeleine is almost 11 months and has no desire whatsoever in crawling or doing anything like that. She just seems happy to sit and get her sister to fetch for her all the time.
Catch ya later
Louise
