Hi my name is Susan and I'm really new to this. I have a problem with my DS, the doctors tell me it's just contipation, but I think it's somethink else. I'm pretty sure it all started in Febuary last year, my DS was very constipated and I tried to help him in every way to make It more easier for him. I gave him prune juice, he didn't like it, I gave him a warm bath and he was to upset to even get in. So now my DS won't do a poo. AT ALL! Unless he's backed it up for several days then he'd go. The longest time he hasn't done a poo is 2 weeks. But now he won't go at all I've seen 8 diferent doctors, I give my DS suppositories every night, and in the morning he has weet bix to eat with a spoonful of psylium husk and 20mL of parachoc. if there are any mothers or you know of someone out there who can help me please do so. i love my child but it's really stressful for me. My DS will be turning 4 this year and will be going to kindergarten next year.

My DD suffers as well, my mum told me to give her some brown suger. I love the stuff it works wonders, I put some in some warm milk for her, she loves it cause its sweet, and she goes like clock work.

After working in a nursing home, I found it works for a few oldies who dont want meds for it.

try it if it dosnt work I go to the doctor and not leave with out a good answer, 2weeks is too long.

kiwi fruit - worked for my daughter??

parachoc (from the chemist)

Grandma (mother of 7) used a bit of soap in the bottom (I never tried that one).
