View Full Version : Kicks??
Might be a bit early yet... but I think I can feel some kicking going on down there ??!
you know what before i started having the asthma attacks (that i mentioned in the other thread) i thought i had felt bubs three times in 24 hours and i was only 11 1/2 weeks... i dunno, i dont know if it is really possible... i keep figuring that in a few weeks i will feel bubs move lots and the worries i have now will be a distant memory:)

Hey I wouldn't rule it out. With my first I didn't feel anything at all until 19 weeks. With my second I felt "something", slight movements or flutters at 12 weeks, but not real big kicks or movements until 16 weeks. I know of other people who have had the same. I know they aren't big enough yet to do anything too huge but who knows depending on the position they are in you might just be feeling something.

Hi all, well this is my first so i don't really even know what something feels like! It was amazing though as i went for my scan today, and the little thing was flipping over and pushing off the walls and like straightening out, i'm suprised i couldn't feel anything. It was very active in there!

Anthing is possible, no feeling till 18 weeks first time around but between 15-16 weeks 2nd time around, it is the best!!!! Can't wait, little flutters to say hi, I'm still here  All round best part of pg, the kicks and little flutters then the shifting begins towards the end!

I keep on thinking I feel mine kicking, then I realise its wind
Well.... I am 12 weeks & 5 days, and I am sure I am feeling "movement" - wouldn't say its kicking though, maybe bub just moving around
First baby I felt lots after about 18 wks, 2nd was a bit earlier, so this being #3 I am sure what I am feeling is baby moving around..... Its not all the time, maybe every 3rd day or so.... Cant WAIT to feel it move all the time!

I personally don't think that we can feel anything that early,(because the bub is only very small) after having so many kids myself, I am sure that the moving feeling doesn't start until 18wks at the earliest, I am 21wks atm and I have only just started to feel kicks a week ago, maybe our body is just adjusting to a new thing inside it.
jodie9, see i disagree i think some people can feel it earlier than others, with #1- i felt kicks at 15 weeks #2- 13 and half weeks and i am sure i have felt a couple of little moments late at night when i am lying awake in bed... but as has been said it only every couple of days at the moment.
I know lots of people dont feel anything till much later, and there is nothing to worry about

I rekon you know when you can feel them
(special instinct)
With DS #1 I felt the kicks at 17wks, a little earlier with DS #2. So far......nothiing yet but i rekon it will be around 15-16wks?
At 11 weeks bub is roughly 4.5-5cm, so I'ts hard to say if you could feel it or not, very individual i rekon
at 12 wks it was 5.5cm by memory?
Mixy- You are so skinny, no wonder you can feel bubs moving in there

!! I am SURE I felt peanut dancing around last night - lasted for about 5-10 mins!!!
At first I thought it was wind but then I felt some wind and went hang on... so concentrated in lying still and sure enough it was like little butterfly kisses going back and forth inside my tummy!!
And then there were the "popping" feelings but they reminded me of you know when fish come to the surface and open and close their mouths??
I am so excited!!!

It feels so real now - as it has been a while since my last u/s it was starting to become a little less real again or something but now i have more proof there really is a baby in there - if you know what i mean!?
Anyway, listen here peanut - mummy wants more movement please!!:D

I know exactly what you mean Lucy, I am feeling the same way. Even though I still have the 'signs' (nausea, big veiny boobs etc), it has all become a little less real. I am hoping for some sort of sign soon to know that everything is ok.

Isn't it funny how neurotic we are - we have plenty of signs each day (i obsessively feel my uterus to make sure it isn't getting smaller!!) but we still want more!!

waiting...
waiting....
waiting.....
between 15 and 16 weeks now and still feel no movement... my last doc app was about 4 weeks ago and don't have another one for a week or so, I hate waiting... I'm in the period of not knowing whats going on... I haven't even heard the heartbeat yet, I'm very jealous of those of you who have.
If it wasn't for the rollercoaster of emotions that I go through eveyday I would probably forget that I'm pregnant.
Move for me lil' fella.... mumma wants to know your there:bee:

I haven't felt anything at all yet. With my first pg I got some movement around 12 weeks but nothing this time. Maybe it's because my placenta's on the front this time:detective:

Hi, thought I have had a few very little feelings when laying down, not convinced but felt something, as my placenta is very low I should hopefully feel bub much sooner!:smiliedance:
It is going to very exciting over the coming weeks with us all getting movement and getting closed to our BIG SCAN!!!
