My dd is now fully toilet trained during the day and has not had any accidents:) even her day naps are going great, she wakes up dry:yes:

...But at night she still wears a nappy, I have put her 2nd potty next to her bed in her room (it always stays there) so when she wakes up in the morning she takes her nappy straight off and goes to the potty...I want to use pull ups
but I have tried them and dd cant seem to pull them up and down to well as they are so tight.
I want her to be able to do it herself when she needs to go.

Is there any good washable training pants that absorb enough and work like a pull up that I could just use at night?

And also we are going on holidays and I am wondering what to use while we are out and about (plane, car trips)? I dont want her to go backwards in her toilet training journey as she has done so well:yes:

Any advice?

A couple of weeks ago we had the same issue - we went over to Tassie so had a plane flight and ds has only been toilet trained for about 6 weeks. We actually put him in pull ups during the day incase we were somewhere and there wasn't a toilet. He would still tell us when he needed to go and he only had 2 accidents while we were away. We would still put him in nappies for night time, although about 50% of the time he is dry at night.

we have recently bought waterproof training pants off ebay. After getting lots of great ideas off bubhub we have bought these for both our daughter and son.

my daughters one are bumkins cloth AIO training pants - she now wears these at night rather than disposable pull ups (although we still have some left so used these when interstate so I didn't need to wash them and are just using up the packet we have). We have found she is now quite often dry in the morning and if she does wet them they are no where near as wet as her pull ups used to be. She is also much more aware if she wets them because they do feel wet.

My sons ones - also bought off ebay as cloth training pants. He has only worn his during the day so far a just a few times. we are using up the pullups he has got and then we wont buy anymore, and probably using up the nappies we have for night time and will then put him in the pants overnight too.

I've been quite happy with them so far.
they are like undies but have an outside layer that is some kind of plastic (so do have a scruchie type of feeling and then there are quite a few layers of flannelette sown into the inside of them.

you can buy these type of washable pullups on the web sites for cloth nappies, but I found they were much more expensive on these sites than on ebay.

hope this helps.
