Put something similar in the general thread, but only one response (it was Pink73 - she seems to be going ok)
My little family and I are coming to GC on Friday for a 12 day holiday (:smiliedance::yelclap:EXCITED:smiliedance::yelcla p:), and I need some advice what to pack re: weather and temperatures.
Obviously need our swimmers, but what else?

Hi Cass

We're heading up to Brisbane (our hometown) from Wagga this weekend and I am packing anything that has no sleeves or short sleeves.

The cold weather down here has caught us by surprise, so we want to get as much wear out of our summer clothes as possible!

It has been a bit wet up there of late though, so it would pay to take a couple of warm things for the evenings and if it's rainy.

Maybe someone up there at the moment can confirm, but I think the weather has been pretty warm and pleasant from all reports.

Have a great time!

Unfortunately we have had terrible weather lately.

If I were you I would pack clothes you can layer - days aren't too bad - over 26 most days, but the last few nights have been a bit cooler. So, no big wooly jumpers - just t-shirts with light jackets.

Bring umbrellas and raincoats too.

We are sort of getting 3 seasons in one day here.

Dmplus3 - it's like I'm stalking you, or maybe you're stalking me! I'm from Wodonga/Albury, and going up north, you are following me the next day.
It's kinda scary that we may be travelling to "sunny qld", but leaving all the "sunny" behind us down here!
Have fun.

Thanks for the help, there seems to be a bit of a consensus that it's warm during the day, but can get a small chill at night. Gives me an idea though - thanks guys!

3kidsmum - I'll take that as sympathy! Did you have any of your babies here?

cass - Given that I am escaping from here for 3 days, I am happy to be known as your stalker! I don't care how I get out of this town!!!

ONLY TWO MORE SLEEPS! We are soooooo excited. Hubby & I have been together for over 13 years, and we've never had a holiday - not even a honeymoon! Definatly well over-due for this one.
Yes, we are going to all 5 parks, however we aren't going to make it to Australia Zoo this time. We looked into it, but we are only going to be there for 10 days, and 5 of them are at the theme parks, so we might do it next time.
Will definately give you guys an update on how it goes after I get back. Don't worry though, will still be around til Friday morning.

I had my first 2 babies there at Wagga Base. It has a bit of a bad repuation now though, but when I was there it was great (That was 13 and 9 years ago)
And yes u should take my comment as sympathy, u poor girl! Nah Wagga is ok, I just got sick of it after 26 years!
