Hi,

I was just wondering if anyones bubs scrunch and their faces and there eyes (I guess like if you were pushing bub, lol, hope that describes it). She doesn't seem unhappy when she does this and it is completely randon, eg not when she looks at distances, not just when she laughs or cries. I was just worried maybe it was an indicator of an eye problem and I can't find any information on it.

It could just be that she is mimicking but I just wanted any extra info people had.

Thanks

my little fella does it too, but i think at this stage its something they can do and they feel themselves doing it, and its like hey i can do this!!! he does it when he plays, or being shy also when he dances! or just when his crawling around so i would not be to worried as they experiment with all parts of there body at times lol.... but if you are still a bit worried, drop in to the child health nurse or your gp!!!

cheers for now......jo

Isabelle has started doing this in the last couple of days. I am glad other bubs are doing it too.

Claire used to do this all the time too, she's sort of growing out of it now. When she did it, she'd kind of breath really hard through her nose, too, not snorting exactly but.... well - we called her our little darth vader while she was doing it - LOL:laughing:

I think its just one of those funny little habits that bubs get into when they realised they have more and more control over their bodies! My advice - take a photo of it - it didn't last long with Claire, and it's kinda cute!!

Hehe Allyoo - my all-time favourite is the raspberry blown at you with a mouth full of food! So much fun - although the explosive food-sneeze is worse. More times than I care to count have I had to change my clothes, bub's clothes, clean down the furnature, highchair etc, only to realise three hours later that I still have bits of bub's lunch in my hair after and explosive food-sneeze!

It's all fun!

Thanks everyone,

We have had the raspberries for awhile, but I especially love them when she just does them into the air when we are out shopping and it looks like she is spitting at people, delightful.
