Hi, I am new to this site and love reading different posts by people. I have a gorgeous 15 month old daughter and about 6 weeks pregnant with no. 2. I have had some early bleeding (Brown and old a couple of times and one swipe of red when i went to the toilet) but no more for 3 days. My HCG levels were normal and cervix closed. Now i am absolutely paranoid about this pregnancy and was wanting to hear of others experiences.

hey mum2livvy, When i was 8 weeks with Jayten i had some spotting and went straight to the doctors, amazingly enough with all the education they got he couldnt tell me what was causing it so i was sooooo scared, it went on for 2 weeks roughly and he just said to complete bed rest. Everything continued on normally and Jayten is now 6 weeks old :). id suggest if it keeps bothering u to talk to ur doctor again u can never b to cautious. Good luck and keep us posted

Hi
With my first pregnancy I had brown bleeding for a day or two and then everything continued as normal and my daughter is now 2 years old.
With my second pregnancy I had red bleeding for a weekk (which I thought was my period) and also brown discharge. I had my dating ultrasound which showed several problems with the baby and it was also missing a chromosome so I decided to terminate the pregnancy.
I am currently 10 weeks pregnant again and I was bleeding last week. I went straight to hospital and got it checked out. The bleeding continued for a week and has now stopped. It came up on the ultrasound that I have a sub chorionic (sp?) haematoma (sp?), which is a blood clot. I've just been told to take it easy as there is a small change of miscarriage but they just dont know.
If you are really worried please go and see your doctor and get it checked out. Its better to know than to stress out because you dont know.

Hi

With all my pregnancies (this one included currently at 7 weeks) I've had bleeding nearly every day from 6-11 weeks. I never have any pains or cramping. I've had numerous scans and all showed the baby totally healthy and undisturbed and the cervix closed. It appears that I bleed every time I go to do No.2's. Apparently the pressure of pushing on my rear passage causes bleeding somewhere in the vagina (the fresh blood never goes as I high up as the cervix). I have now started taking stool softeners which has made things a bit easier.
