Hi, can anyone tell me if the gymboree sizes are good? are they similar to our sizing? My dd is in size 00 atm, and I'm guessing she'll be in 0 by winter. should I be getting her 6-12mo, or 12-18mo sizes? she was around the 9kg mark when i had her weighed 3 weeks ago. I have found some Pumpkin patch tops a little big for her. I have 2x PP 6-12 mo tops which are still too big for her. and I have found that with some pants i buy her I have to get size 0 to cover the length, but they are still a bit loose around the waist.

anyone with any experiences? I have never bought gymboree stuff before. thanks

DS is 25 months old, and wearing size 2T gymboree and size 2 pumpkin patch if that helps.

Last winter he was in 12-18mo gymboree and aussie size 1.

Hi, I think it really depends on what type of clothes youa re buying. Overall, I think their sizing is similar to PPatch as aardvark said.

My boys are both long in the torso so I generally buy a size larger if it is a bodysuit with clips or overalls. If it is separates then I buy the normal size.

If it helps, my son is also 00 at present and I have bought size 6-12 months for him for winter. I think it will be fine, but I think PPatch's 6-12 months is a little bit longer, and he may have outgrown the bodysuits before the end of winter. They are in his room at present (he is asleep!) otherwise I'd measure them for you.

I always make sure that there is an adjustable waist in pants too. It will say it in the description if there is. There are some great prices at present, I think the sale ends soon though!!

I always get one size up in the Gymboree stuff.

Go one size up. So if your bub will be in an 0-1 in winter time, get the 12-18 months.
I have just purchased a heap and my son is 7 months and is in 00 now also.
They tend to be a smaller make

Don't forget that you can change the measurements from inches to cm's in the sizing guide on the Gymboree website.
For those interested;
the 'T' sizing is for toddler and has a little more room in the bottom to allow for a nappy.
