Cramping- normal?

Hi guys.
Well, I'm 5 weeks pregnant and really my only symptom is these cramps I've been getting in my lower abdomen (I'm not even sure abdomen is the right word!) They've only been there for the past couple of days and they're not really extreme (not as bad as my period pains) so I was planning to just ignore them. I'm not sure if it's common or not, I've never heard anyone mention them. Do I need to go to my GP? Thanks.

When I was about 5 weeks I had some cramping too, not as bad as period cramps but just like it, I was seeing my doctor that afternoon so I asked him and he said it was all fine and part of the process, as long as they're not really bad or have bleeding with them :)

TOTALLY NORMAL!
I had cramping from about 5 weeks too! I had cramps pretty much most of the time I was pregnant! They were more intense at the beginning and they came back strong with vengeance around 33 weeks - braxton hicks :rolleyes:
