View Full Version : Chiropractor During Pregnancy
Hi Girls
I was just wondering if anyone has used a chiropractor during their pregnancy that they would be willing to recommended to me. I live south of the city but am willing to travel. Would also love to hear anyone’s thoughts/views/experiences of using a chiropractor during pregnancy.
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
I used a chiropractor near Marion when I was pregnant with Jake, right up until full-term. A small practice, one chiropractor in his 50s+ and quite the gentleman. Positions for adjustments changed as my pregnancy progressed. He also advised me of natural methods to prepare for labour etc. If you're interested in his details, PM me and I'll pass them on.
All the best,
Kari :D

I'm not in Adelaide, so can't recommend one to you - but wanted to let you know that I see a chiro weekly and am currently 26 weeks pregnant. I have SPD and its giving me a huge amount of relief - I can actually still walk and move relatively easily, and I'm sure I'd be much worse off if I wasn't having weekly chiro.
Just make sure you fully inform the chiro about anything and everything relevant.
Good luck :)

I used to go to a chiro at Old Reynella who is really good. Mark was trained over in New York, and has studied all over the place, so knows plenty of stuff. He has a great personality/sense of humour too. If you'd like more info, just pm me and i'll pass the details on to u
I know a great guy in Glenelg:thumbsup:
I first saw him after I injured my back at work. I was on hardcore medication, had seen a neurosurgeon, three physios and none of them had helped. First visit with this guy and I was able to come off the medication and after second visit my back was no longer a problem.
He is extremely subtle, no heaving crunching or clicking, in fact you wonder if he has done anything at all. Then you realise.
Anyway sorry for the :ecomcity:
pm if you want his info
I won't recommend one, as I live in the Hills and you'll find one of the others much closer! I did however want to say that I had chiropractic adjustments throughout both my pregnancies and would have died without them!! I swear by my chiro! I didn't need him as much with no. 2 as he gave me back advice to stop my pain, but with no.1 I found it pure relief as I used to get quite a lot of nerve compression and the sharp pain would travel all the way down my legs.
So, I would recommend a chiropractor for sure.
