On what things do you base your decision of how many children to have?
Should worry about future finances always come into the equation or should we have the mentality of "we'll worry about that later"
In other words, should we always go with our head or our hearts?
Our kids are absolutely gorgeous.
We just tell people we're going to keep going till we get an ugly one. :p

I never started, and I never stopped having children LOL. They are here, and they are here for a reason. I LOVE my large family. They all offer incredible input into my family.
Would I change anything? YES, one thing. To be in a stable relationship and have another LOL. I envy those who have the choice.
Go for it, I did, and NEVER regreted one single second.
OJ&ME! Top comment! :yelclap:
I asked my mum this question as i know her desire to have a largeish family was more important than anything else. She always wanted 3/4 kids and when she had already had 3 kids in 2 years (cause of twins) and only been pregnant twice she decided to get pregnant a third time to have one more baby. So yeah she said that she didn't base her decision on money or anything like that, she wanted four kids and was happy with that. I feel the same as her pretty much, we'd work out how to afford the kids we have and provide for them as best we can.

I am assuming everyone knows that I have 9(10 in july), and I always wanted a large family ,but it is not for everyone, it is very hard work, I have a fair bit of support with extended family helping, atm I have a 2yr old recovering from pneumonia, and I have the flu,as well as DH, so not much housework is getting done, also trying to get 5 kids to various schools in the morning is a complete nightmare, and the financial aspect does come into effect at some stage, my food bill alone is around $500 per wk, I do think that you need to take into account your finances before having each bub.

We only have two for the moment but we are aiming for 4-6. Just depends on how my body handles any further pregnancies.
I agree with Jodie9 though your finances need to be taken into account before having another child. Raising a family is only going to become more expensive as fuel and food prices go up.
