Early pregnancy and the flu?

Is it just me or when you got pregnant did you get the flu?

I have only known for a few days that im pregnant and have got the flu real bad.

Headache,sore ears,sore throat,runny nose and sneezing all the time.

When i woke up this morn i nearly fell over 3 times i think from being unbalanced form the flu.Its horrible.Seems so much worse when pregnant.

Funny u mention that both times i fell pregnant i got the flu really bad , was so annoying coz u cant take anything other then panadol, so thats what i did and i slept, the vapouriser helped me to.

I got the flu both times i was early on in my pregnancy too, bit of a pain seeing as you can't take much for it.

I got the flu when I first fell PG with DD and on top of that had a bladder infection from all the BD'ing whilst trying! LOL....

Yep I did with all 3...lol Apparently your immune system slows down so the body doesnt reject the new growth, hence a pregnancy cold. It was actually a first sign of pregnancy for me in 2 of my pregnancy's...lol

Hrmm interesting, I cant really remember with DD...But im now 6 days late for AF and 3 days ago I was bed ridden with flu symptons...today I have an earache and sore throat....Damn wishful thinking!!

Oh i have a cold atm :D hehehe
