ttc positions

I hope this is ok to ask on here, sorry mods if it's inappropriate.

I am just wondering what th best positions are when ttc. And afterwards, is there a best way? IYKWIM...

Like some people say put a pilow under your butt, etc.

They say missionary is the best for TTC.

And afterwards, forget all the pillow under your butt talk; it's just nonsense. Most TTCers try to lie still for 5 minutes or so (at least), and just use a towel to help with the... er... leakage.

We did it in the missionary position but didn't bother with any strange position afterwards, I just stayed in bed for a while. I know it worked because I got pregnant from that one try, we didn't do it at all in the 2 weeks before and after that, and I got a BFP 2 or 3 weeks later.

Anything that gets close to your cervix, so missionary and doggystyle are the best. As for afterwards, I would try and lay still for a while, but like pp said, dont worry too much about anything fancy. :) I got up right after sex when we conceived ds...

I don't really believe or listen to any of that stuff because each couple is different.

Like when people say (before I quit) "Oh you won't be able to have children unless you quit smoking" - 3 friends of mine smoked almost a packet a day and they got PG by accident!


"Oh your too skinny, you won't be able to have kids until you put on some weight" - 2 of those friends were my build, but shorter!

I know I've gone off the TTC positions topic, but I am just trying to get a point across.
