What's your favourite breastfeeding position ?

Just a little poll to see if others have a preferred/favourite feeding position.

Actually feeding in any other position other than laying down is becoming quite cumbersome with a squiggling toddler!

I could have written this word for word.

Lying down is my fav. In fact with my last bub (who has now weaned himself:(), I would try to roll ever so carefully onto my back and keep my breast sideways and in his mouth!:p But it just wouldn't stretch that far!

Second to that has always been my right breast-it always produces more milk than my left and I have always found it easier to hold a baby on my right.

I tried so hard to stretch them that far but it just wouldn't work.:p But, a pillow propped under half of me helped.

Some nights, I remember feeling so out of whack on my side but unable to roll over due to small attached boy. I would give anything to be there again though. :yes:

but my fav is the same as everyone else by the look of it, lying down and the right side ahhh i cant wait to do it all again!! :cloud9:

I actually like the football hold:) I fed my twins like this for 12 months, then my DS like this for about 6 months then he preferred the left boob till he weaned at 14 months , and my DD, who is still feeding, I seem to favour the left side also - sitting up in my recliner:)

My fave is kinda different. It's left boob with her laying across my lap and me leaning over her (very bad for my posture, I know :rolleyes:). She happily lays under me for ages and I can cut her nails :laughing: I feel a bit like a dairy cow with my udders hanging down though.

I love lying down with my left boob.....i've actually mastered the boob staying in DDs mouth while I roll onto my back, we stay like that all night sometimes.....its heaven! :valentine:

Because I breastfeed twins Football hold on a breastfeeding pillow would have to be my choice.
