QLD Childrens Hospital

I just found out the other day and thought that I would share...

The Mater Children's Hospital, Royal Childrens Hospital, the Prince Charles Paediatric Cardiac Service will all merge (to where the Mater is now- South Brisbane) to form the QLD Childrens Hospital.

My goodness, can you imagine the size of it? :eek:
It won't be complete for a few years yet, that is the next project on the books after the new Mater Mothers opens in June this year.

they told me this too as we are frequent visitors to the eye department but they also said that they all cant decide on the best place for it yet and they also wont be totally shutting down the childrens bit of the other hospitals either
