South/west mum

Hi guys I have just joined this site and I amwanting to start up a mums group/playgroup my hubby and I moved to Springfield Lakes about 5 months ago and all the playgroups in my area are full.
So I thought what a great idea to start my own I would love to meet some mums and Im sure my 2 year old would love to play with someone other then me.

Hi there
Im a stay at home mum with two kids Jacinta 3 and Nathan 6 1/2 mths. I live in Redbank plains which is not that far from Springfield. In fact we go to Springfield every Tuesday for swimming. I go to a playgroup at Redbank Plains on a Friday which is realy great. I would love to meet up some time , I know what its like stuck at home with kids

Narelle, that sounds great just email me whenever you want to meet up I am home nearly everyday :(
Is anyone welcome at the playgroup on Fridays?

looks like I wont be able to make it tomorrow. Both kids are sick and my daughters asthma is playing up so she is not going to swimming. Will have to organise to meet up again.

p.s what do you think of the swimming lessons I looked into for Noah but Im not sure I would go on Tuesday's as well cause Will goes to daycare on Tuesday :D

Hi Fern
Jacinta does swimming lessons at the Water Worx centre at springfield. They have lessons everyday except Sunday. The people there are great, Jacintas teacher is Julie and she is fantastic.
I can relate with your son getting bored at home. Jacinta went through the same thing until I finaly plucked up the courage to join a playgroup. She still asks everyday where we are going today and most days the answer is staying at home. How old are your boys?
Anyway Id love to see you on Friday
