Hi I know sydney has these in most suburbs / coucil areas - but does Brisbane have a similar thing? My cousin just had a baby and I as telling her how my ELC had put me in touch with my current mothers group --- and she unaware of anything like that that existed in Brisbane....... could some brisvegas mummies please help me out here?:smiliedance:

There are child health clinics spread about Brisbane. I'm surprised she wasn't told at hospital! How bizarre...

Yeah we have Child health Clinics in QLD as well. I was given the adress and number of my local one before I left the hospital. Just had a look in the "Maroon "book ( your "Blue" book) and it sayes to look up QLD health - Community Child Health services in the phone book. Hope this helps:)

Yup, as the girls said there are definitely clinics around the place. Nicole79 has the link :yelclap: They are great because you book into to see them, and they give you a lot of information about mothers groups and parenting issues etc. :p
