Hi mummy hopeful!
I am a big believer in homeopathic remedies! My husband and I have been going to a homeopath for some time now for various reasons. One of those was we wanted to prepare for a baby. I wanted to be completely healthy before falling pregnant. Once starting with the remedy I felt better than ever and I fell pregnant quite easily. I continued to use homeopathic treatment during pregnancy also. My baby is now 4 1/2 months old and extreemly healthy!

I went to a herbalist cause we were having problems conceiving. My beautiful 14 month old son is proof that it worked. I was taking the tonic for 5 weeks when I found out I was pregnant. It was, however, the most god awful stuff I have ever swallowed. But I kept thinking that if it worked it was worth it. The Herbalist was really professional and took a full medical history. He had been recommended to me by some friends who had all fallen pregnant within 3 months of seeing him. If we have trouble next time conceiving I would have no probelms going back for some more of his "baby Toxcin" as it was nicknamed in our household.
Good lcuk.

It was a tonic that the Hrbalist made up in his lab. It isn't sold commercially but I'm sure if you find a Hrerbalist in your area he/she will be able to make one up for you. I threw it out the day after I came home from hospital with Harry so if I need it again I can just go back. Where abouts do you live?

my dad's ex is a homeopath. the way homeopathic remedies work is hard to explain in the least.and t could be dangerous to take a remedy like that i fit was prescribed wrongly. also, when people are actualy TRYING to conceve (checking temperatures ect.) its less likely that they will.

Hi firstbub,
Sorry I haven't replied but I missed your post. I started taking the tonic and 5 weeks later I conceived. YEs actually know the date. I don't know if it was mental, ie, taking something to help conceive so relaxed or what, but I don't want to think about it too much. It worked and that's all that matters.
