hi

DP has a job interview for the job in perth tomorrow (there are 10 other applicants...) anyhow have been scouring the net for rentals and have found there aren't many places with lock up garages, only lock up carports?

are most rentals like that??

just that we wud prefer a lock up garage (fully enclosed), not a carport....

so was just wondering....??

Most houses over 5 years of age in Perth are like that in the rental sector unfortunately. I wanted something enclosed but eventually had to go with a lock up carport instead.

thanks for your reply...we may have to settle for that and maybe a shed out the back..there are a few with garages...just not many!

We had 4 rentals in Perth over 5 years. 2 had lock up garages (quite large ones too) and 2 had lock up carports. The two with carports only - 1 had a freestanding workshop out the back that we could fit a car into along with all of DD's tools. The 2nd house with carport had 2 lockable shed/bungalows in the backyard, so DH tended to put his more expensive portable tools & sports equipment in those.

So there are garages & other options out there, but you do have to look.
