My God!!!! I seriously look SO pregnant already!! I'm only 6 weeks but I look really big!

This will be my 3rd child (2nd pregnancy) and I was hoping there were other ladies out there in the same boat.

I'm not sure if it's bloating from all the water I'm now drinking or if my poor stomach muscles have just given up but it's RIDICULOUS!!

I'll be in Maternity clothes before I'm 8 weeks!!

Hi QueensMum

I too feel like I'm huge for 6 weeks. This is my 2nd pregnancy and I'm already wearing my work shirts with the bottom button or two undone. I'm starting to wonder how many are there but don't see my OB until 18th March - I think I'm going to be massive by then.

Well, that's another issue as well...We went through IVF for this pregnancy and only put 1 egg back in but when I went in for my HCG blood tests my levels were REALLY high and the nurse said they couldn't rule out twins until I had an Ultrasound so now I'm freaking out that there are 2 in there...

NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!! I've already had my twins - I only want a single one this time!!!!

Queensmum - don't worry too much. Check out the Sep 08 thread, and you will notice that this is very normal.
I'm preggers with #3, and I was in mat clothes by 6 weeks! The bloating is ridiculous, and the stomach muscles have not only given up, but have gone on long-service leave!
I wish you luck with your pregnancy :)

I just thought I'd share something that I found in one of the Practical Parenting magazines and that will come in very handy for Porky Little Pumpkins like me..

It's called "The Waiting Band" and it's a Sterling Silver ring that expands through your pregnancy. I know that when I had to take my wedding rings off last time I felt really naked without them, but with this band you can replace your wedding rings with this and they have little words engraved on the inside. DH is getting me one for my birthday and I thought I'd post the link:

i have the same thing maybe it's something to do with the fact that we've had kids befor and it's just our bodies remembering??? I don't like being pregnant don't get me wrong i LOVE the end result but pregnancy is nothing but M/S and bloating.

Hi Ladies,

Am I glad I found this thread!!! I've been feeling exactly the same ie I'm only 6.5wks but feel about 4mths pregnant. It's ridiculous!!!

I have maternity shorts on today. This is my 4th pregnancy - one beautiful DD and x2 m/c's. I had my first obst appt this morning and asked her about showing so much already. She said it's very normal to show earlier with each pregnancy.

I feel soooo much better knowing I'm not the only one........think I should unpack the rest of my maternity clothes in the next few days!!

I thought I was the anomaly till I read these threads! I am 8wks & 5days pregnant with my 3rd & I already look like I'm 5mths gone too - it can't just be bloating or maybe it can? I can't fit into my jeans & pants anymore. It's not like I'm eating a huge amount either as the ms has intensified over the past week. To top it off my skin is breaking out too - lovely!

IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY THAT THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER "EARLY SHOWING" MUMMAS OUT THERE!!! :yelclap:

I am wearing my Yoga pants and maternity jeans everywhere. I hate the feeling of any tightness over my belly.

I was looking back at pictures of my last pregnancy and I look now like I did at 22 weeks with the girls!!

Bring on the Maternity Clothes!!

My tummy is poking out too and I am only 5 weeks!! I am pretty skinny and I have this little pot...a couple of people have noticed! How weird, the baby is only the size of a grain of sand lol.

I too am looking about 4 months pregnant - at only 2 months! It's very hard to wait to tell people when you're already showing!! I love having a preggy belly though, so bring it on :D
I'm pretty relieved that there are more belly's that are big & beautiful like mine - was starting to wonder if there was more than one in there ;)

And I can sympathise with you Shera, my skin has broken out big time also!

im hearing all of you. my belly seems to be popping also at the bottom (i was the real teardrop shape last time with ds). those of you with the break outs...maybe you are having girls, they say that can be the case.

I'm only 8 weeks and someone asked me last week when the baby was due! I was shocked as I'm not telling people at work yet. Or do they already know!!!! Its my second, I look like I've eaten a watermellon.

My stomach is massive! this is my 9th week and my doctor told me it's likely from a lazy bowel - you know all bloating etc.
This is my first baby and I started to freak out a little that maybe I'm gaining weight too quickly, although I can hardly hold anything down.
So I'm glad to know I'm not the only big bellied girl around.
