Hi
I had pre-eclampsia with my first, and it was a terrible pregnancy, had morning sickness until the day she was born. But with my second i had a good pregnancy compared to her, i had morning sickness on and off for the nine months, but my blood pressure was excellent.. So i guess what i am trying to say, every pregnancy is different so doesn't mean it will happen if you have a second, but the doctor will keep a close eye on the pregnancy.

Hope that makes sense :o

Hi,

I've got the gestational diabetes as well, and like you I was terribly upset when I first found out. I'm managing to control it with diet though, and my OB has advised me that I am now considered 'normal', which means I have the same pregnancy risks as anyone else.

I have to do the finger prick test to check my sugar levels three times a day - it hurts a bit and it's a pain in the butt remembering to do it at the right times, but it's not too bad and I"m sure it will become a habit soon enough :D

Good luck with everything, and if you want to talk just pm me.

:hugs: :hugs:
