We saw Tony Prado, his offices are in the Mater Medical Suites across the road from the hospital.
We didn't see him for a specific problem, just the run of the mill, check the baby after his born thing. He was awesome. We had a planned caesar, and they were worried about ds, and Tony explained really clearly everything that was going to happen after the baby was born. He was really personal and reassuring. Afterwards when he visited the rooms to do the routine checks he answered all my questions, he didn't seem rushed like many specialists and he was completely supportive of breastfeeding, told me to do what worked for my and the baby.
I couldn't recommend him highly enough!

We see Dr Bruce Lewis, who works at the Wesley Hospital, Auchenflower.
We were allocated him 6 years ago when I delivered my twins and he was fabulous. I asked to have him again for our following 2 children. I find him to be very thourough, great with the kids and he listens to all concerns you may have.
Good luck with whom ever you decide to go with :)

I saw David Moore with my daughter and really liked him. I thought my daughter had a small fit when we were in the hospital and rather than treat me like a panicky new-mum (which, I probably really was) he took my concern seriously and ordered the appropriate scan. This meant that I was given the all clear within a short time frame and could begin to relax.
He was also very easy going and approachable so I could ask him lots of questions without being judged.
He has an office at Auchenflower, Carindale and Sunnybank.

My son has been under the care of Tony Prado since the day he was born. He is now about to turn 2. He came and saw us at 1am in the morning the first day our son was transferred to the Mater. I cannot speak highly enough of Tony, he is very approachable, and really listens to you. He acknowledges that the parents know their child the best. We travel 4 hours to see him, and I would travel all day if I had to.

We saw tony Prado when our daughter got sick and he went through every avenue possible to help us, he was absolutely excellent. When I got pregnant this time I requested him and he's been great.

Dr Bruce Lewis is wonderful :)
He was patient, thoughtful, listened to my concerns without dismissing me as a 'worrying mother' and took the time to explain things to me.
Brilliant Brilliant Brilliant.

A client of mine has been seeing Tony Prado recently and she's been extremely happy with him.
We saw Aaron Easterbrook - he was good as well.
Both are at the Mater.

I saw Dr David Levitt at North West Private, Everton Park and he's been fantastic. My son has severe Reflux and he's very supportive. My husband works at Redcliffe hospital and 2 doctors that also work there take their children to Dr Levitt, so he has a very good reputation. He's very kind and has a great sense of humor. We've been very happy with him.
Good luck : )

I saw Doctor Harvey at North West Private Hospital. he was allocated to my daughter after an emergency caesar. He is very nice and great with children. He explained everything in a very matter of fact way and took any concerns we had seriously. If we have another child I will definitely be using him again.

We had Dr David Moore for DS and while he was easy going and reassuring he was VERY dismissive of DS's food reactions. No support what so ever.
We had Dr Tony Prado who was excellent. Relaxed, gives you the time of day, thorough, has a sense of humour... the list goes on. Could not speak highly enough. The middies at the Mater told me that he is who all of the Midwives use when they have babies, and I guess they would have a pretty good idea of who was the best. When I made DD's follow up appointment after birth, they originally told me he wasn't taking new patients and I should find a different paed (not understanding that I saw him in hospital). Of course, when I explained the facts, it was ok. I hope you can get in :fingerscrossed:
Good luck!

I also saw Dr David Levitt when dd was born. Very calm and re-assuring, lovely guy who would sit and have a chat after checking dd.

My DD see's DR Richard Brown, near the Mater Hospital. I quite like him. But, I am thinking of finding an new one, as he is more of a General Paed. We may need someone who suits DD's needs more.
