any advice/help - brown discharge

hi,
this is going to be full of TMI so i apologise now! :o
my DP and i started TTC this past month, i didnt have the usual AF symptoms - cramps, etc - and they are now 2 days late. this morning i have a weird brown discharge. i did a preg test 2 days ago but got a BFN,
has anyone had this?
i miscarried in january, could it be linked to this? my cycles and AF have been normal before now.
probably just over reacting as we ten to do when TTC!! :p

would be really greatfull for any help!!!

Hi renee,
Without getting your hopes up I like to say that it took untill the forth preg test I did 16 days after my period was due to see a positive. The other three test I did all came back negative. It is possible you are pregnant & the brown discharge is old blood. Alot of women have what they call a brake through bleed, around the time their periods would be due & are pregnant. It's also possible to be a bit of implantation bleeding. Both are quite normal.
My advice is to wait a few days. If you still don't get your period, do another test or go to your doc & ask them to do a blood test.

Thanks Trish, i had heard a little about break through bleeding but have beein trying veyr hard not to get my hopes up!!
fingers crossed tho! i am having slight cramping in my lower abdomen, which feels like some implantation pains some of the other women here have described,
