I've just been onto another site that I use, it's based in the UK and they basically do the same thing as bubhub, due in January, February etc.
I know someone from due in February and she was telling me of this poor, poor woman on due in January. She had her little boy at the start of February and everything went fine, labour was only about 4.5 hours and her little boy was around 9 and a half pounds.
She got home from hospital quite soon after the delivery and, as far as I know, everything was fine. She then got taken into hospital on the 11th February with septicaemia and ended up on a ventilator, kidney dialisis etc.
Her mother has been posting on Bounty to keep everyone updated and it just breaks my heart.
The doctors had been talking about removing her finger tips and toes to try and stop the sepsis spreading. But it's gotten so bad that she's had to have both feet removed to the ankles and it still looks like they are going to have to amputate to below the knee.
I can actually feel the tears welling up for her now, it's so, so sad. When you hear about her situation it really puts things into perspective and I wonder what I'm doing moaning about my trivial pregnancy ailments.
So sorry to bring everyone down but I just feel so sad for their whole family and had to get it out.
I did have a link up but Kayla warned it was best to remove it to prevent a warning from mods.
