i am on the pill at the moment....I am in my 3rd week of taking it and i have spotting.....WTF!?!?!?
Next thursday i have my appointment to start the nasal spray.
It could not be from bding either...... :(

It is brown blood, nothing outragous but it is on my undies. I had a little bit of red this morning. What do i do???????

Just wondering why you are on the pill if you are ttc?
I think sometimes when you are on the pill it is normal to get a bit of 'breakthrough' bleeding midcycle.. not sure why.

i am on the pill for the start of my IVF cycle. I had to go on it so the nurses would have a clear indacation on when my hormones would be rising and falling......cause they dont do it themselfs.......:dizzy:

Hi Ains - I had similar - it's the hormones going wacky. I found it was like that until I got a full on AF, it cleaned everything out and the spotting stopped.

i am due to start the nasal spray in 5 days......will i get an af before then???

Ains - are you doing a full down reg cycle??

If yes - then you will stop the pill on your 7th day of sniffing - then you will get AF...on about the 3-4th day of AF you will start stimm injections.

At this stage, breakthrough bleeding is ok, as you will have an AF BEFORE your start stimming anyway...

Ains I was just reading my Monash IVF booklet and it says that spotting on the pill is not uncommon. But call your doc on Monday anyway.

Ains...I had spotting when I went on the pill for my IVF cycle and my doc says this was not unusual as the hormones are changing...I was worried at the time too but it will all be fine! Good luck!!

Hi Ains. I spotted the whole time whilst I was on the pill most of the time it was dark but some times it was red. My FS was not worried and after I got my AF and was off the pill it all stopped. So don't worry :)

Ains,

Don't worry, unless it is red and full fluid that is what they want before you start sniffing.

I to get spotting before and they count day 1 as when you have full flow before 12 midday . If it is after that then the next day becomes day 1.

I always get my drugs prior as I need to be prepared for the what if it comes early..

Try not to stress too much.
