:wave:Hello All!

Well i am extremely interested in doing the Childrens Services Course through OTEN but id ideally down the line love to work with Disabled children.

So would i need a disability care course done aswell as a childrens services??

What qualifications do i need to become a Disabled Childrens Carer/Assistant?
and...
Childrens Carer/Assistant

I have NOT done year 10 (due to being pregnant with DD) so therefore UNI is out of the question :)

Thanks in advance

My suggestion would be to contact early intervention centres in your area and ask what kind of qualifications they would be looking for. Also, in most childcare centres there are some children with special needs.

Re. uni - if that is what you want to do, there are pathways through TAFE or adult entry, so it's a possibility. :)
