do you live north or south Canberra??

There is a F&V shop in Gungahlin that I am pretty sure has mostly organic stuff - it's not cheap though....

Isn't that the Southside Farmer's Market?? Not sure that it's organic stuff that is available there, it's just been grown by the person selling it....

Hi ladies,

I just found out that a new organic vegie shop just opened in Lyneham shops. I went there yesterday and had a look. The boxes even say how many kilometres the produce travalled to get to the shop! Don't remember their opening times exactly, but they do the usual Mon-Fridays and on Saturdays they are open until noon.

There is an organic vegie shop at the Fyshwick markets - and the butcher just up from it carries organic meat. It is also worth checking out your local IGA. Ours carries a range of organic vegies and meat at pretty reasonable prices.

Farmers Markets at Epic have stalls that are organic and don't carry the organic price tag. I only buy organic fruit and veg and I try to only buy local, seasonal fruit and veg. I love, love, love the Farmers Markets!!!
