My son 3 1/2 complains of a headache nearly everyday. I question him about and he does seems to know what he is talking about. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same sort of issues. I am considering taking him to a doctor if it continues.

Don't know about kids, but I know one of the most common causes of headaches in adults is dehydration - is your little boy getting enough to drink during the day?
I would personally take him to the doctor anyway - just to make sure that there's nothing wrong, and to get some more ideas!

Hope the he feels better soon!

It could be what he is eating, and like the above said, not enough fluids.

No haven't had to deal with this as my boy is only 15 months, however given the frequency of his headaches, and his age I would seek medical opinion.

I would also start noting time they occur, their duration and if they are in reaction to something: such as environment - ie fumes from cleaning products or after he has eaten (and what it was), etc.

Perhaps a pattern will emerge, or an allergy identified.

But I would suggest that you first go see your GP or pediatrician and the sooner the better, so they can determine cause.

That way you are not worrying and he may get some needed relief.

:hugs: I agree - I get a headache when I eat too much junk.. or if I haven't had enough to drink (especially water)

the other thing I thought of was his eye sight.. ?? I know he is little - but one of the things my mum finds in grade one is that kids with headaches sometimes have eye sight issues - sometimes they need glasses???

just an idea

:hugs: hope the GP can help you out!
