How much is she throwing up? As long as its not all her milk and she is putting on weight it shouldn'y be a problem, just a real pain cleaning up spew all the time. Both my kids had reflux so I know what you are going through. You could try thickend formula most brands have them they are the ones called AR or Karicare have a thickner you can add to your currant formula. My daughter didn't stop chucking till she was 12 mths and my son is 6 1/2 mths and while I have been writeing this has chucked 3 times. If you are still worried talk to your GP or CHN. Good Luck

I changed from the normal formula to the soya one and it made my son very ill, constant vomiting and looking very pale. I think maybe he has an allergy to the soya one. I then turned to AR (thickner) formula and it works wonders.
Hope this helps

My daughter suffered from projective vomiting from about 3 mths old. She was on the normal S26, but we found formular AR for reflux she has been drinking it for 3 months now and she is no longer projective vomiting. They say you can go to step 2 formular when they reach 6 months of age. I am going to stick to the reflux formular as I don't want to go back to have to remove vomit from the carpet.

Hi Michelle,

Which ar formula do you use?

My sons vomits when I put him on his stomach to play even after 1 - 2 hours after milk, saturday I just bought that karicare thickener and had been adding it to his formula but he has developed diahrea today the only kulprit I can think of is the thickener :( .
