It's noice, it's different, it's un-ewe-sual.... :p
No seriously, it is pretty, and if it suits your little girl then you should definately use it! Is it a name from Greek mythology or something ? (It rings a bell for me, but I can't think where I've heard it before)

The girl's name Ione is of Greek origin, and its meaning is "violet." Flower name.

I think it's a beautiful name...The only other girl that I know(I don't know her personally) who has that name is Ione Skye(actress)...

I think its a sweet name, a variation of it, Iona (eye -ow- na), was the name of a friend I met at uni. My only reservation about it, is what middle name will go with it?

I think thats a great name as long as you know that people will be pronouncing it wrong for ever. I gave my son an unusual name with unusual spelling, not realising how hard it would be for others to say - but people constantly make mistakes and I know now that later it will be annoying for him. Maybe different spelling would be worth a try :)

I don't actually like it very much sorry :o But if you like it then go for it  I'm sure that when you're baby comes along it will suit her and everyone who doesn't like the name will warm to it!
