Im looking for a stroller to use on shorter outings instead of our Valco Tri Mode Pram...

I need one that is:
Lightweight
Compact when folded
Able to Semi Recline (not all the way back, just a couple of positions)
Has a sun shade
Has a mesh basket in the bottom

Without physically going out and looking at various models (and not all shops stock all the main brands) to see how they fold etc Im finding it hard to choose!

Do you have one you could recommend?
Or give any tips on what else to look for?

Thanks

Steelcraft Holiday meets all of those requirements. You can only get them from BigW as far as I know... they are around $95

There is the Steelcraft Holiday ( as Ikis mentioned ! ) the Phoenix or the Profile .... All are great & it depends on how basic you want it to be.

I love our Profile & it would still be going strong if Boof wasnt a boof lol.

There is also the Valco Urban Ultralight whilst it isnt an umbrella fold its a really lightweight stroller which is fairly compact.

Otherwise many from the Maclaren range seem pretty good !

We got a Graco stroller - I can't seem to find the exact model on their website, but its very similar to the Metrolite (http://www.gracobaby.com/catalog/product.aspx?modelNumber=6121MTR3&productID=385&tab=description&CategoryID=2&subCatID=)...It has all the features you're after - weighs about 8kg or so, has a sunshade, reclines to 3 positions, is quite compact when folded, easy to steer and use, and a 1-handed fold action, adjustable handle bars for different height people, and a basket underneath that carries quite a lot.

Its basically everything we could ask for in a stroller, and I highly recommend it. We barely use our 3-wheeler anymore because the Graco is so good - in fact, I can't remember the last time we DID use our 3 wheeler.

We got the Steelcraft HOLIDDAY and its great. Its got all you need, including the recline, mesh backet at bottom and a bag on the back, plus the sun shade. Really light and fold up nicely. Cheap too, we paid $98 at big w.
