Does anyone have a recipe for an apple cake that has the actual tin apples still in pieces inside the cake and not mashed up?:flowerz:

I got this recipe off the internet, it is simple and very delicious. :)

Mum's Apple Cake

6tbsp SR flour
6tbsp sugar
150g unsalted butter, melted
3 eggs
1tsp vanilla essence
1tsp water (or rum or liqueur for the grownups)
3 Granny Smith apples or one tin of pie apples (coated in flour)

Preheat oven 180 C
Mix it all together. Pour into greased pan. Cook 35-40 mins (test with skewer, don't overcook, needs to be moist in the middle)

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream for maximum effect

I copied this word for word
