Teach Me How to Toilet Train ~

Ezaria is a wek shy of 20 months and I think it's time for toilet training but I'm not sure where to start..

We've owned a potty for a few months and we sit her on it before she gets in the bath. She'll happily sit on it with clothes on but jumps off right away if she's in the nuddy.

She HATES having poos in her nappy, as soon as she does one she goes straight to her change mat and points up at the nappy stacker. Lately she's been "requesting" new nappies when she's done a wee too.
So I'm sure she's ready, I just need a few pointers please :)

ok this is what i was told to do by a health nurse, i used this mathod with my ds when he was 24 months and had him potty trained in one week.

get yourself a comfy seat a pile of books and some videos and a bag of lollies. then strip bubs off and just sit and when she sits, read and play videos. then just keep things exciting for a day or 2 (seems hard but it gets the job done fast). then whenever she does wees or poos in the potty then give a lolly. they usually start doing little wees, then getting a lolly then doing a little more. this is just learning bladder control. when bubs gets the hang of it then only use the lollies for poos and just gradually drop the lollies, just make a huge big fuss.

good luck with it, it is such a huge step, it does take a while for it to really kick in but it is so worth it when they start using the big toilet and don't need mummy every time they do wees.:fingerscrossed:
