Just wondering if there is any food that you cannot stomach now that you are pregnant, that you use to enjoy and eat before becoming pregnant.
Mine this pregnancy is Mince. I cannot STAND the stuff, I hade meatballs last night and just about gagged on them! I cannot stand anything to do with the stuff now. Rissoles, spag bol, meatballs, tacos, burritos.. you name it! If it's made of mince, I wont eat it

I can't stomach anything spicey anymore, like curries and satay's which I love. I can't even stand the smell of them cooking
Red meat. Poor DH thought his throat had been cut. For about 5 months I couldn't bear to smell or eat red meat. I couldn't face a piece of steak or a chop. Spaghetti Bol was OK but I couldn't cook it!
And since I'm the cook it was chicken, pork and fish the whole way!
It's come back a bit now, I can eat a small quantity, but I was a serious red meat lover before getting pregnant!
Also tea. For a while there every time I drank a cup of tea I'd vomit it back up again 10 mins later. :barf:Kind of spoiled the enjoyment of the cuppa!
I was an absolute CHOCOHOLIC before falling pregnant... I could eat a block a day or a packet of pods or 3 milo's in a row...and for the first 3months I could not stand even the thought of it...
Even now Im only just starting to have a little bit every couple of days...

Im with you Mel, Normally i love thai food, but cant eat it. The thought of chicken makes me want to :barf: Also dont like alot of sweet things, like chocolate, marshmallows etc..
But on the other hand im ususally not a big tomato fan. But for the first few months all i wanted for breakfast was tomatos on toast with salt & pepper.

when I was carrying ds, I couldn't eat pasta, which was what I almost lived off before him. If I don't get enough carb's in the day, I literarally faint, and I was frantic cause I couldn't figure out what to eat instead :p
This time, I'm having things that I normally wouldn't - I'm craving caffine like mad when I'd only have a coke once a week and maybe a coffee once a month or so.
I've gone off read meat as well - I can still eat it, but I just really don't feel like it, but I was that way with ds as well.

I'm have been having major issues with bacon and eggs but am slowly getting used to them again.
Apart from that I had the usual red meat aversion until about 12 weeks, until then I couldnt look at it. Even chicken made me want to puke. My poor DH came home one day and goes "what's for dinner" I said, "I don't know maybe cheese on toast". He goes, "c'mon man, we're not ****ing vegetarians" LOL. What a punk! In his defense I hadn't cooked anything for about a month and I think he was hungry LOL!
Fun Fun!

There's not a lot I can't eat, although I find that chicken smells funny and sometimes the texture puts me right off...
Everything else, I have been able to eat without a problem (so far!).

This time i have been so much better! I can eat anything now. Don't like the smell of cooking meats (worse than it was before pg) but i can eat them once cooked.
Didn't want chocolate early on... but back to normal now with that too.

lol - had to laugh at that - for almost a month I was cooking up the cheese toast (like the stuff you get at Sizzlers before a meal) for almost every breakfast. I think dh is sick of it now. I could still eat it, but just don't feel like cooking anything in the morning any more.

Red meat, but can handle mince.
Ice cream. I used to eat it all the time, but at the moment the thought does not appeal to me at all.

Can't stand anything with rice - the thought of risotto ot fried rice or anything rice makes me nauseous even writing about it. Other than that I'm pretty ok with everything!
You poor things who can't have red meat - love it! And I couldn't live without pasta. I spent the first 12 weeks or so eating spaghetti on toast!
