Hello
It worries me that everyone is so worried! For those who are on their 2nd/3rd pregnancy = every pregnancy is different. Don't compare this one to your first, because it's a different baby, you're a different person now (older, body changed etc), and it's going to be different.
To the first-timers = don't worry about losing your symptoms too much! Unless it is associated with bleeding, cramping, pain whatever, try to take it in your stride.
What you all have to remember is that it is unusual for women to have the same symptoms, at the same intensity, throughout the duration of the pregnancy. My boobs had stopped being so tender, but have started up again, and are now making small amounts of collostrum. (told you guys I was a jersey cow!). I feel much better, not feeling so blah, am not as tired, and am now crusing a long.
You all have to remember that the placenta takes over the hormone development for the baby, and your body adjusts to the pregnancy, and that is bound to minimise, if not eliminate, pregnancy symptoms.
Now, you are all to relax and enjoy the pregnancy! That is an order, and as I say to my DD's - "mummy is the queen, and you should listen to her" And yes, you all can be my princesses like my girls
Sorry to sound preachy, but I'd hate for you all to get all wound up over nothing, and put undue stress on yourselves and bub.
Homework for today is to take 15 minutes to relax and ponder the wonderful thing that is your body - and the little miracle in it!
Have a great day ladies.

I'm another with worries but mine seem to be settling down, for today anyway.
All of my pg have basically been the same so far so I should know what to expect when I spot, but it always worries me, I try to not to act concerned at first but when it won't go away I start to think the worst. Well, I have a heart-beat and feel much better about things now.
I checked my boobs for collostrum and got some too and some oily stuff... :detective: Never seen the oily stuff before?
Yes, will take time out over here too, have taken to watching all the kids DVD's with DS1 when DS2 is sleeping in the day, he bops around so much it makes me dizzy!

Girls i am starting to stress now. Most of my symptoms have gone, only had nausea actually and not able to eat much because of it, and tired. Still tired but nausea all but gone. Tummy is really crampy and sort of tight feeling now, and pulling on my right side up towards my waist. This is what happened to me for the last 2 times. All symptoms go and its over. I'm going for a scan on monday so praying everything starts up again. I'm 8w 3d, and this is the exact same day that i lost them before :( Can anyone offer me any hope??
Sorry to bring a downer in after cassvanm's beautiful message, but can't help feeling like why me :hissy:

Crafty - Honey is there a way you can get an earlier scan done? You are at the stage where some symptoms can ease and then come back a few days later... i know how hard it can be... if you are still feeling tired it's a good sign...maybe if you are worrying and stressing so much it is covering your other symptoms... catch 22 really...
How about ringing your dr?
I felt terrible this pregnancy on the same day I had my m/c last time so you could very well be experiencing extra stress due to the timing... i will have my :fingerscrossed: for you...
If you are still having some tiredness and nausea that's a good sign... my tummy is feeling very crampy at the moment and that's common... it's not always a bad sign honey...
Take care...

Thanks Pinkangel :hugs: I'm actually in a conference for the next 2 days so can't go then and they are totally booked out for saturday. Monday is the first day available and I'm actually going to, I hate to say it, have a sickie so i can go to it. I think you're right, just putting extra stress on myself because of the past, but its just so hard not to think that way. Has anyone found the off switch for the brain yet  Got to run a training session this afternoon so hopefully that will take my mind off it for a couple of hours. Why can't we have a pregnancy patch on your body that turns blue or something to let you know all is ok!!!!!
Thanks again :hugs::hugs:

hey there crafty gnome
i know exactly how u feel i too lost all preg signs including nausea and my boobs went soft so off i went to the hospital on monday (also had a lot of back pain) and sat there for 5 hrs until they checked me and everything was fine :yelclap: my bean was jumping around on the u/s (it was pretty cool since they didnt think they would be able to see anything due to my bladder being empty)
but chin up i am proof that even if u lose all symptoms it can still be there
im sending BIG hugs your way:hugs:
let us know how u go
Thanks heaps for that Cass....
I am 10 wks & 4 days
To be honest, I was worried.... my first 2 pregnancies were pretty much the same, but this time around so bizarre! But you're totally right - older, insisdes are more mush and a different bub!
My boobs have stopped hurting, and the sickness has just about faded away

Pinkangel - Thankyou! :hugs: How am I feeling? I don't know really. I was suppose to be at a conference today but have ended up staying home. Last night had the worst cramps which are still around this morning. Not as bad but still there. Last night I had sharp pains in my stomach whenever I breathed in, which scared the **** out of me and of course DH was working late. I keep trying to tell myself that cramping is normal and only by body stretching to fit the baby. I'm feeling really off today like I have the past few weeks which I guess is a good sign, but don't know if it's the cramps making me feel this way or the pregnancy hormones. Ahhh I'm hating this part!!!!! I was going to ring and see if I can change my scan, but I think I'm just going to lay on the couch today and watch the box and try not to stress and keep telling myself it's all ok. If something has happened mondays not that far away to wait and find out then. Am I being crazy? Are you having cramps too?? Am I just over reacting on everthing?

Crafty - Honey rest assured I go through exactly the same thing... of a night after work i sit on the lounge with a warm (heat) pad just to ease the crampy feeling... it almost feels like my period is coming...in fact sometimes I get up to go to the toilet just to check.. hmm a tad obsessive I know but it does feel exactly like period cramps. I think everything is going to be fine with you... spend a day on the lounge watching TV.. take some time out to rest.. creating this little creature can be hard work! ;)
The pains could also be your digestive system slowing down... i get some gas pains and bloating through the night also... I think this is all part of the process... i have been having the morning 'runs' which is also concerning me... after hearing so much about constipation I feel abnormal!!
Put your feet up, grab a good book or lose yourself in some crappy TV... :hugs:

Thanks Pinkangel - just reporting in I'm feeling much better today, not too many cramps so very happy about that. Just going to try and relax and keep chanting my new motto - it's all ok, it's all normal, it's all ok, it's all normal. How are you feeling??

Crafty - Great to hear you are feeling a little better...I'm chanting exactly the same mantra as you.... still having 'toilet issues' in the morning but Ob/Gyn rang and he said if it's only once a day it should be fine and more than likely diet related...phew...let's hope!
Hope you have a great day... AND feel much more rested after your relaxing day xx

Just wanted to report in I went for my scan this morning and all was ok. Was so worried about it was nearly in tears in the waiting room. But Jellie was there on the screen, squirming around. Measuring 9wks 1day so spot on to what it should be. Heartrate was 169 but the guy didn't tell us the size, so will check on that when I go back to pick the report up this afternoon. Am feeling so much better about it all. Now just got to relax for the next few weeks and enjoy being pregnant! All my symptoms have gone pretty much other than nausea in the afternoon and when I smell something strong.
Thankyou so much to everyone that was a great support last week when I was having my mini meltdown. You girls are the best! xxx
