Hi Far Northerners

Hope everyone survived the cyclone. We came out unscathed thankfully we have no power which is no problem. My parents property up at Ravenshoe copped a hiding so will probably go and help them clear up once we know we can get through.

To any Innisfail people I hope you are ok, we are thinking of you and just feel terrible for you as it was a very scary time for the Cairns people so can not imagine how you all must of felt.

I thought it would be interesting to see how everyone else in the FNQ faired.

Depends where you brother is going.

Cairns is fine, all working well, Mareeba seems to be fine, Atherton had power yesterday.

Between Atherton and Ravenshoe is a mess, no power, trees are being pushed off the roads along with power lines hanging low over the roads. Ravenshoe may have some power but most of it has no power.

There are alot of roofs missing between Atherton and Ravenshoe.

Don't know too much about the other side of town except that Babinda and Innisfail are no go zones.
