Here is the short list....HELP

Well we have finally agreed on some names for our little girl.........but thats as far as we have got!! Can't agree from then on...............I would love to hear your opinions or faves :thumbsup:

The middle name will be Rose as that is my mums maiden name....

Here they are in no particular order-

Summer
Taya
Tamsin
Lily
Abby
Teegan

What do you think?

Here's a tip to you and all ladies out there, if you especially like a name but significant other is not too keen on it, wait until just after you have given birth to say it. After all the puffing, panting, screaming , blood and pain, they are so keen to give you anything you want they will agree to just about anything. ;)

I love Taya the best but I am bias as I have a gorgeous little niece named Taya. I do like Summer & Lily as well.

Good luck - it sure is hard work picking names but I do believe that when you meet your baby her name will just come to you. But if your anything like me you want the name before the baby- lol:)

Tara25 I'm like you, I like to have the name picked before the baby....or at least a short list of 2-3 and then I can decide when I see her.

Taya was the very first name we picked then we went off it and now we like it again! It seems to be a bit of a fave on here too. Its great to get other peoples opinions from people that don't know me so I know they aren't just agreeing with a hormonal pregnant woman!:laughing:

Lily Rose is named after her great-great grandmother. But if you dont choose Lily Rose than Taya Rose would be my next choice.

Kiwibird27 you are probably right about it being a bit of a cliche....I love the name Summer but don't want it to sound silly with Rose. And I don't want to drop Rose as I want a piece of mum in there!

Rose is such a lovely pretty name I think it would go with any of them, although I do agree that perhaps Summer is not the best match. I love the name Lily, it is one of my pics for a girl, have you considered having Lily as a shortened name (or nick name) and have the full name Lilliana or something like that? (that is my pic, Liliana, shortened to Lili)

Have you thought of names like Tanaya instead of Taya? Just a suggestion, you may not like it.
