are there any free child clinics on the gold coast?

In NZ we have whats called plunket, its a group of people (trained) that help you with any problem or queries that you may have about raising babies/kids, you can take under 5's in there to get weighed and to answer any questions about things that you may be worried about like feeding/sleeping etc, anyway I was just wondering if there was anything here on the Gold Coast like that, if anyone knows of a place like this can ya let me know.

Hi Jo, I take my baby to a free clinic at Westfield in Helensvale, It is on fridays inside the chemist. Time is from 9 til 4 and you don't have to book. The nurse is lovely, and gives great advice and samples.

Hi Kara, thanks for that, I live just down the road from helensvale, which chemist is it at? there are a couple in the big mall and one over the other side in the small mall, i'll definatly have to check that one out

It is the chemist near the woolworths in the big centre. My suggestion would be to go around 11am or later. The mornings get so busy.:)
