DD1 is almost 10 months old and its getting to the point where she is getting into everything now especially sliding out bottom drawers that are on runners.

What Id like to know is does anyone know of a product that I can use to try and lock these drawers without drilling holes or using any adhesives that would damage my drawers? DH purchased something that needs to be drilled in but for some reason I dont like that idea?

I use the dream baby ones http://www.dreambaby.com.au/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=80 and the mini ones.

They do have adhesive, but I'm fairly sure it will just scrub off with some orange oil spray or something of the like.
Ava's slowly working out how to unlatch them though! :D

I used to slide a piece of dowel through the handles - right down the middle...

Was a PITA when I just wanted a teaspoon, but it meant that I didn't have to worry about them pulling everything out of the drawers.

Once they worked out that the drawers were boring because they couldn't get them open, they left them alone, and I only had to have the dowel in the handles for about a week.

One of my friends used a really long shoe horn to do the same thing. The bent bit at the top acted like a handle so it was easy for her to pull out when she needed to open a drawer.
