I bought a bulk box of 96 disposable Huggies nappies for DD1 who is nearly 10 months for $50. They are the girl variety (toddler). I switched to these from aldi as my girl is a big night feeder and Ive been advised that huggies are good as they dont leak. I know that different bubs are different to different nappies...some leak and some dont...but for some reason Im not convinced that these are good. They look like they are a really cheap quality nappy and the straps on side are a lot more difficult to undo. They leaked the first time I used them and I was really dissapointed so now I just use them during the day and use the Aldi ones again (changing them once during the night).

I just wanted to know if others are aware of this problem? Could they be fake? or should I just stay away form them and get the ones at Big W that are on special. These ons have whinnie the pooh and tigger on the top of them.

During the day, Ive found that the huggies ones just seem to feel a lot fuller after a short period of time compared to the aldi brand ones which is why for some reason Im not convinced. Ive had all these mums rave about this brand for night time use but I highly doubt that Ill be buying them again as I expected them to be a lot more absorbent. I know different nappies can vary with different babies and will stick with Aldi for the time being.
